Bonus skills and attributes Experience in technical consulting, customer-facing analytics, or SaaS product data science. Brand Voice Lead - Systems
Fin is the AI Customer Agent company on a mission to help businesses provide perfect customer experiences. Our AI Agent Fin is the highest-performing AI Customer Agent on the market today, enabling businesses to deliver impeccable, always-on customer support across the customer journey – from service, to sales, to ecommerce. Powered by our own AI models, Fin resolves complex customer issues end-to-end across every channel, with minimal set-up and integration. Fin can also be combined with our natively integrated Intercom help desk for one single system that is designed to meet the needs of modern day support teams. Founded in 2011, Fin became one of the fastest growing companies and remains one of the largest private software companies in the world with nearly 30,000 global businesses using our products to transform their customer support. Driven by our core values, we push boundaries, build with speed and intensity, and relentlessly deliver incredible value to our customers. What’s the opportunity? Every interaction with Fin, whether written by a person or generated with AI, should feel clear, distinctive, and true to our brand. As Brand Voice Lead, Systems , you’ll help make that happen. This is not a traditional copywriting role, and it’s different from a standard content strategy position. You’ll shape how Fin shows up in words across key brand and marketing touchpoints, while helping build the tools, guidance, and workflows that make strong writing easier to produce consistently. You’ll work across Brand, Product Marketing, Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling communication. That means contributing to messaging frameworks, supporting major launches and campaigns, and writing across formats like websites, films, podcasts, presentations, and executive narratives. You’ll also evolve and shape the systems behind the work, including voice and tone guidance, editorial standards, channel-specific frameworks, prompt libraries, AI Skills, and reusable messaging assets. We’re looking for someone who is excited by both sides of the role: writing excellent copy and helping teams use AI thoughtfully to create better, more consistent communication at scale. What will I be doing? Evolve Fin’s verbal identity, including voice and tone guidance, messaging principles, and editorial standards across key brand and customer touchpoints. Develop messaging frameworks that help explain complex products, technologies, and ideas with clarity and conviction. Write and refine high-quality copy across a wide range of formats, including product launches, campaigns, websites, video, podcasts, keynote presentations, and strategic initiatives. Partner closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Product, and Design to ensure work is aligned, clear, and consistent across channels. Build and maintain practical writing systems that support scale, including channel guidance, prompt libraries, reusable messaging assets, and AI-enabled workflows . Identify friction in writing workflows and recommend smarter ways of working that improve quality, consistency, and speed. Use AI tools to strengthen writing processes, support content development, and help cross-functional partners create with more confidence and less guesswork. Provide thoughtful editing, feedback, and guidance that helps raise the quality of writing across projects and teams. Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Fin’s verbal identity as our products, customers, and category continue to grow. What skills do I need? 8+ years of experience in brand writing, messaging, editorial, verbal identity, content strategy, or related creative disciplines, ideally in-house. An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates strong writing craft, strategic thinking, and the ability to develop systems that improve quality and consistency. Experience creating voice and tone guidance, messaging frameworks, editorial standards, and writing support tools used across teams and channels. Outstanding writing and editing skills, with the ability to move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution. Strong editorial judgment and taste, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. Fluency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, and other emerging creative technologies, along with a clear point of view on how they can improve creative workflows. Experience building AI-native writing resources such as prompt libraries, reusable workflows, editorial evaluations, or structured guidance that helps people create stronger on-brand communication. Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners across Brand, Product Marketing, Product, Design, and leadership-facing workstreams. A systems mindset and a habit of turning one-off solutions into repeatable practices that help teams work better. Experience guiding non-writers through editing, frameworks, and practical support. Why this role matters This role helps Fin communicate with more clarity, consistency, and confidence. You’ll bring strong judgment, excellent writing, and a practical systems mindset to the work. You won’t be expected to single-handedly own every aspect of how the company communicates. Instead, you’ll be a senior hands-on partner who helps shape the voice, improve the workflows, and raise the quality of writing across the brand through a n AI-driven lens. *Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required. Engineering Manager - AI Helpdesk
Fin is the AI Customer Service company on a mission to help businesses provide incredible customer experiences. Our Helpdesk brings together the tools modern support teams need to deliver fast, effective service: an omnichannel inbox, AI-powered ticketing, real-time assistance from Copilot, automation, and Fin AI Agent. We are building a single system where human and AI agents can work together seamlessly, with the context and intelligence to resolve increasingly complex customer issues. What’s the opportunity? The AI Helpdesk is a major next step in the evolution of Intercom’s core product. We are shaping an AI-first Helpdesk that helps support teams work more efficiently, resolve more conversations, and deliver consistently excellent customer experiences. This role sits in a high-impact product organisation where the product vision and technical direction are continuing to evolve. You’ll lead an engineering team working closely with Product, Design, Customer Support, and AI/ML partners to turn customer and operational problems into simple, powerful product experiences. What will I be doing? You will: Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team building AI-first Helpdesk capabilities. Set clear goals and create the conditions for the team to deliver valuable, reliable product at a healthy pace. Partner closely with Product and Design to shape strategy, roadmap, priorities, and customer outcomes. Work with AI and ML partners where relevant, while keeping the focus on building excellent customer-facing product experiences. Understand the customer, agent, and business problems behind the roadmap - not just the delivery process. Bring technical judgment to architecture, quality, reliability, and long-term product health. Remove impediments, create clarity, and help the team make good decisions with increasing autonomy. Build an inclusive, collaborative team culture with high standards for ownership, communication, and execution. Coach engineers and develop senior engineers into technical and organisational leaders. Contribute to the wider AI Helpdesk strategy and help align engineering decisions across adjacent teams. Explore how AI-assisted development can improve the team’s speed, quality, and effectiveness. What are we looking for? The most important thing is that you are an exceptional people leader who is personally action-oriented. We don’t want managers who are distant from the product, and we don’t want hands-on operators who neglect the leadership craft. You build strong teams and get involved directly when the situation requires it. Beyond that, you bring: Experience managing software engineering teams building customer-facing products. Strong product engineering instincts and an interest in customer problems, user experience, and measurable outcomes. The ability to shape strategy, prioritise effectively, and create clarity in ambiguous environments. Enough technical depth to engage credibly in architecture discussions, understand trade-offs, and unblock engineers when things get difficult. A track record of delivering complex work predictably while balancing speed, quality, and reliability. Experience partnering effectively with Product, Design, Data, Customer Support, and other senior stakeholders. A strong record of coaching engineers, developing senior talent, and building healthy, inclusive teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Curiosity about AI-native products and how AI-assisted engineering is changing the way teams build software. A high degree of autonomy, sound judgment, and a bias toward action. Why Fin? Fin is helping define the AI era of customer service. The Helpdesk is at the centre of that opportunity: a product used by support teams every day, now being reimagined around AI, automation, rich context, and seamless collaboration between people and machines. You’ll have the scale, customers, and resources of an established company, alongside genuine opportunity to shape product direction, team culture, and how engineering works in an AI-first environment. AI Design Leader
We are looking for a technically-capable product leader to head up AI Design at Fin. Fin is the #1 AI agent for customer service — a full-stack, vertically integrated AI system powered by our own in-house models, Apex, designed specifically for customer experiences. The role is to lead the Design function within our AI Group, where our custom models and core Fin functionality are developed. You will be managing our AI Designers (currently 3 Staff/Principal level AI Designers). You will work directly with AI Engineers and Scientists in our AI Group , and Product Designers and teams in our R&D group. We believe that leading AI Design is a new type of product leadership role that combines technical, product, and leadership qualities. This includes shaping how the Fin AI models and harness behave — how they reason, respond, and improve over time. The experience is defined as much by model behavior, evals, and iteration loops as it is by UI. We’re looking for someone to lead in that world. There are three things that matter for this role We’ve tried to simplify it down as much as possible. 1. AI Chops (this matters most) You’re comfortable operating at the AI layer. Not just using AI tools, and not just designing around them, but getting into how things actually work: model behavior evals and testing agent workflows You don’t need to have done everything end-to-end. Honestly, very few people have. But you can hold your own in conversations with engineers and scientists. You’re curious enough to go deep. You’ve likely built things, broken things, experimented a lot. You almost certainly have opinions about where this is all going, what’s overhyped, what actually matters. 2. Product Leadership You care about building great products, deeply. You’ve likely led teams, or built things from scratch, or shaped products that people use. You know how to connect: user needs business goals what’s actually possible with the technology You can zoom out to define direction, and zoom in to perfect experiences. Maybe you’ve shipped AI products from the ground up, maybe you haven’t, but you’re already pulling AI into everything you build, and pushing way beyond surface-level use. 3. Values & Mindset This part is true for everyone at Fin: You’re high-agency. You build. You don’t wait for permission. You care about quality, not just how things look, but how they work. You like moving fast in messy, ambiguous spaces. You raise the bar for the people around you. We don’t expect you to be all of these things at once. We think this role will attract people with different “shapes.” You might be: A product leader who has gone deep on AI over the last year A designer leader who has moved closer and closer to the system and the model An engineer, scientist or researcher who cares a lot about product and experience A founder, or someone building things on the side, figuring this out in public You might not have ever had the title ‘Design Leader’. That’s fine. What matters more is: how you think how you learn how seriously you’re engaging with this shift What would you be doing in the role? You’ll be working at the center of how we build Fin. Alongside designers, engineers, and AI scientists, you’ll help shape: how the system behaves how we evaluate quality how we turn model capability into real product experiences Some of the work will feel like product. Some will feel like design. Some will feel closer to engineering or research. A lot of it will feel new. Talk to us We don’t think there’s a perfect profile for this role. We don’t think the industry has fully caught up with what this job actually is yet. And we don’t want to over-specify it and miss the interesting people. If you’ve been thinking about this space a lot, building things, forming strong opinions, we’d love to hear from you. Tell us how you see it. Tell us what you’ve built. Tell us where you think this is all heading. We’re much more interested in that than a perfect CV. Interview Process We understand that interviewing for a new role is both time and energy consuming–we aim to be thorough, speedy and transparent in our approach. You should expect for the entire process to be no more than 4 weeks from start to finish. You’ll meet with members of our AI Group and Product & Design leadership team, and have the chance to properly understand the role, the problems we’re solving, and whether Fin is the right fit for you. Policies Fin has a hybrid working policy. We believe that working in person helps us stay connected, collaborate easier and create a great culture while still providing flexibility to work from home. We expect employees to be in the office at least three days per week. We have a radically open and accepting culture at Fin. We avoid spending time on divisive subjects to foster a safe and cohesive work environment for everyone. As an organization, our policy is to not advocate on behalf of the company or our employees on any social or political topics out of our internal or external communications. Fin is an AI company that builds from the GPU all the way up to a user agent that resolves millions of customer service queries a month. You’ll join a small, highly technical team working at the cutting edge of modern AI infrastructure. The AI Infra team built the training pipelines and runs the inference for custom models like Fin Apex, which outperforms frontier models in customer service tasks, and is the foundation of the AI Group's full stack approach to AI. We’re particularly interested in engineers who have: A track record of working on model training or model inference at scale , or on low‑level GPU coding (e.g. CUDA, Triton). Experience with one is great, multiple is even better. What will I be doing? As a Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer focused on model training and inference, you will: Implement and scale training pipelines for large transformer and LLM models, from data ingestion and preprocessing through distributed training and evaluation. You communicate clearly, can explain complex technical topics to different audiences, and enjoy close collaboration with both engineers and non‑engineers. You take pride in strong technical fundamentals , love learning, and are willing to invest in your own development. Specific language experience is less important than your ability to write clean, reliable code and learn new stacks quickly.
