Senior People & Talent Operations Partner
â¡ This one's going to move fast. We're expecting a lot of interest, so we're running this as a focused hiring sprint. Applications and assessments close September 20, with interviews happening over the two weeks after that. ð Where do we hire from? Almost everywhere. Check that your country appears on this page . For this role, you'll have at least 4 hours daily overlap with your UK-based manager. Hi there, I'm Olive Turon, Head of People & Culture at TestGorilla. I'm excited to share more about the Senior People & Talent Operations Partner role and our team. About TestGorilla At TestGorilla, we're on a mission to place 1 billion people in their dream jobs. To democratize opportunity, we're building the world's leading skills-based talent discovery platform - one that replaces reliance on resumes with scientific validation of what people can truly do. Founded as a 100% remote company in 2020, our global team is united by high standards, a lot of heart, and a relentless drive to conquer new technological frontiers. We're all AI-fluent builders who care deeply about replacing bias with fairness. After empowering thousands of companies to hire smarter and faster, we're now unlocking the next phase of our scale-up journey - where you'll play an instrumental role in creating a world where skills matter most! About the role As our Senior People & Talent Operations Partner, you'll own People Ops as a product: the systems, compliance, and self-serve workflows that let most of People & Culture run itself day to day, plus the tooling behind how we hire. You'll join a lean, two-person team, working directly with me, with proper and lasting ownership from day one. Payroll, compliance, and HR systems across every (35, currently!) country we operate in are foundational elements of this role. Just as critically, you'll build and own the AI/automation and self-serve layer that keeps our People function lean, bringing a product mindset to everything you touch. Letâs face it: weâre a scale-up, so youâll also need to be happy wearing other People hats when the moment requires. We're looking for someone autonomous, opinionated and candid, who'll tell me when I've got it wrong. You'll be dealing with real people and real problems, so you'll need to stay empathic but boundaried, structured and organized even when the pace picks up. Iâm biased, but I think itâs a dream job: this is an HR role in an HRTech company changing the world of work for the better, weâll have immense amounts of fun, thereâs plenty of uncharted territory for you to make your own, and Iâm committed to helping you to do the best work of your life. A quick check: if you've never built objectively clever automations (not just used one someone else built), this probably isn't the role for you. Automation is just that central to the job. Responsibilities In this role, your responsibilities will include: Upholding TestGorilla's behaviors and fostering an inclusive, supportive culture. Designing, building and maintaining a smart, automated and AI-enabled people journey - from pre-boarding to off-boarding - that frees up capacity for bespoke, white-glove treatment where it matters Being the technical owner and orchestrator of our HR tech stack: evaluating and enhancing it, ensuring these tools are not siloed but unified and integrated. Owning the non-Finance side of payroll, invoicing, contract administration, and compliance end to end, across every country we operate in. Owning data privacy and recordkeeping, and the day-to-day relationship with our EOR vendor. Owning configuration and troubleshooting of our hiring tooling, so hiring managers can run their own searches independently. Owning the documentation that makes self-serve actually work in practice, ensuring that itâs structured in a way that is easily accessible to both humans and P&C AI agents. Working with me to maintain a clean line between what's self-serve and what needs a person. We do not aspire to automate our entire People journey here. What you'll bring We're looking for someone who: Is passionate about TestGorilla's mission to help one billion people find their dream jobs. Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Has built and owned sophisticated automations (Zapier, n8n, Make.com, and the like) as a core part of an integrated HR tech stack, not just used AI tools day to day. Arguably the most important thing on this list. Has managed payroll, compliance, or HR operations across multiple countries, ideally through an Employer of Record or a mix of EOR and direct entities. Has deep, hands-on HRIS experience. HiBob experience is a big plus, and so is experience assessing or migrating HR systems. Brings a product mindset: builds for the people who use them (employees and managers), listens to their feedback, and iterates rather than building in isolation. Thrives in a high-autonomy, async-first, remote-only environment, and has worked in these kinds of teams and working cultures before. Marries operational rigor with genuine empathy and a real interest in people. You'll be dealing directly with team members, sometimes on sensitive matters. Is opinionated and candid, with excellent feedback and stakeholder management skills. Most people in this role will have acquired these skills over five years of relevant experience. That being said, we care far more about what you've owned, your impact and how you've progressed, than the exact number of years. We seek diversity and encourage applications from everyone, even if your experience doesn't exactly match the description. Studies show that women and underrepresented groups can be hesitant to apply unless they meet every requirement - let's buck that trend! Bonus skills While these skills aren't a requirement, we'd be very interested to hear from you if you have any of the following: Experience with an ATS or hiring platform such as Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever. Experience with an EOR provider such as Remote, Deel, or Oyster. HRIS implementation or migration project experience. Experience supporting a team through organizational change. What's in it for you? Please note: In this role, you'll be hired as an Individual Contractor. Global Team: Join a fully remote, mission-driven team from around the world. Competitive compensation: â¬56,520 - â¬70,650 base pay + Share Appreciation Rights (SARs). This role doesn't carry a bonus component. Remote & flexible work: Work from almost anywhere*. Enjoy flexible hours and asynchronous work to balance work and life. *Check out the countries we currently hire from here . Remote work budget: â¬1,000 available each year, or up to â¬2,000 from day 1 if you're buying a laptop! Growth & development: Invest in yourself and your career with a 3.5% L&D budget per year and clear growth opportunities. Parent/Caregiver support: We provide a caregiver-friendly work environment with paid 8-16 week parental leave and tailored return-to-work approaches. Work-life balance: Our unlimited and flexible time off policy empowers you to take the time you need to recharge and maintain your well-being. Interested? At TestGorilla, we believe your skills speak louder than your resume. That's why we champion a skills-first approach, using cutting-edge, AI-powered assessments to uncover your true skills and experience match. When you apply, you'll get to experience our platform firsthand by taking an assessment â it's your invitation to shine and show us what you can do! While our platform is powered by AI, every hiring decision is made by humans. Check out our Applicant Privacy document to see how we protect your data. Given the hiring sprint timeline above, we'd love to see your application land before September 20. Concerned about test anxiety or need help with the assessment? We've got you covered. Please check out our candidate support page for any questions. Accommodations are readily available as part of the assessment set

Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and multi-year agreements within established company guidelines. Cross-Functional Communication: Ability to bridge technical language and financial business logic, effectively collaborating with engineering teams and accounting stakeholders alike. Chief Architect
We are hiring a Chief Architect to serve as Legion’s most senior hands-on technical leader and to shape the technical foundation that will power the next decade of product innovation. This is not a strategy-only or advisory role. The Chief Architect must live close to the code, go deep with engineering teams, challenge assumptions, write and review technical designs, make high-consequence architecture decisions, and help turn bold product ambitions into scalable, reliable production systems. This person will own architecture and technical decision-making for the most complex parts of Legion’s Workforce Management platform, including AI, optimization, forecasting, scheduling, distributed systems, data platforms, real-time decisioning, enterprise scalability, security, compliance, and developer productivity. The ideal candidate has built and scaled mission-critical software used by large enterprise customers, has deep technical credibility with senior engineers, and can operate fluidly between code-level decisions and long-term platform strategy. They are pragmatic, decisive, opinionated, and comfortable making hard tradeoffs when simplicity, scalability, reliability, or customer trust require it. This role reports to the Head of Product, Engineering, and Support. This is an open role currently being filled on an interim basis by the CEO. Responsibilities and Duties Hands-On Architecture and Technical Decision-Making Serve as Legion’s senior-most hands-on technical authority for complex architecture, system design, and platform evolution. Personally dive into code, design documents, production incidents, performance bottlenecks, and implementation tradeoffs to diagnose root causes and guide technical direction. Lead the hardest technical decisions across AI systems, optimization engines, distributed systems, data architecture, reliability, scalability, security, and platform modernization. Write prototypes, reference implementations, architecture decision records, technical specifications, and design patterns where needed to unblock teams and establish clear direction. Make high-consequence technical decisions with incomplete information, balancing correctness, simplicity, speed, scalability, reliability, cost, and long-term maintainability. Challenge architectural drift, unnecessary complexity, weak abstractions, and short-term decisions that create long-term platform risk. Partner directly with Staff, Principal, and senior engineering leaders in design reviews, code-level discussions, and implementation planning. Platform Architecture and Technical Vision Define and own the long-term architecture for Legion’s AI-driven Workforce Management platform across application services, data infrastructure, ML systems, optimization engines, APIs, integration architecture, developer platforms, and enterprise-scale operations. Establish engineering-wide standards for system design, scalability, performance, reliability, extensibility, observability, security, and maintainability. Serve as the final architectural authority for major platform initiatives and technical decisions with long-term consequences. Identify opportunities to reduce complexity, improve system efficiency, accelerate engineering velocity, and unlock new product capabilities. Proactively surface technical debt, architectural risk, and platform constraints before they compound into customer, product, or engineering velocity issues. Create pragmatic migration paths from current-state architecture to target-state architecture while maintaining uptime, customer trust, backward compatibility, and delivery speed. Ensure Legion’s architecture supports enterprise configurability and extensibility without allowing uncontrolled customization or product fragmentation. AI, Optimization, and Decision Systems Architect AI-native product capabilities across forecasting, scheduling, labor optimization, recommendations, copilots or agents, anomaly detection, decision automation, and other intelligent workforce management use cases. Define the architecture for production AI systems, including data pipelines, feature platforms, model training, model serving, retrieval, evaluation, monitoring, feedback loops, and continuous improvement. Make clear build-versus-buy decisions across LLMs, classical ML, optimization solvers, retrieval systems, evaluation frameworks, and internal AI platforms. Partner closely with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to turn mathematically complex labor optimization problems into reliable, scalable, explainable production systems. Establish standards for AI system quality, including accuracy, latency, cost, explainability, drift detection, reliability, customer-specific behavior, and production observability. Ensure Legion’s AI capabilities remain differentiated, defensible, enterprise-ready, and deeply integrated into operational workflows rather than bolted on as superficial features. Distributed Systems, Data, and Enterprise Scale Drive architecture for large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS systems serving complex enterprise customers with high availability, performance, security, and compliance expectations. Lead technical decisions involving microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed data processing, real-time systems, data governance, and large-scale analytics. Improve the architecture for observability, incident analysis, performance engineering, capacity planning, reliability, and operational excellence. Use production data, incidents, escalations, and customer operational patterns as inputs into architecture and platform improvement. Ensure architectural decisions support global scale, data residency, enterprise integrations, configurability, extensibility, and long-term platform leverage. Product, Business, and Customer Impact Connect technical decisions directly to customer value, product velocity, implementation speed, scalability, reliability, and long-term platform advantage. Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate ambitious product goals into executable architecture and technical roadmaps. Understand enterprise customer complexity and design systems that support real-world operational variability without creating unsustainable technical debt. Support strategic customer, partner, and vendor architecture discussions where deep technical credibility is required. Help evaluate technical implications of major product, partner, platform, and commercial decisions. Engineering Culture and Technical Talent Mentor and elevate Staff Engineers, Principal Engineers, architects, and senior engineering leaders across the organization. Raise the bar for technical judgment, system design, architecture reviews, documentation, code quality, operational discipline, and engineering craftsmanship. Help assess, attract, and develop senior technical talent, including Staff, Principal, and architect-level engineers. Build a culture of disciplined technical thinking, direct debate, clear decision-making, and pragmatic execution. Ensure architectural decisions are documented clearly, understood broadly, and transla

the role You will be the right hand to a Dubai-based founder who runs a group of companies in performance marketing and consumer brands and splits his time between Dubai and Europe. Your job is to take every administrative task off his plate, business and personal, so his time goes to decisions and deals rather than logistics. We are looking for an A player. This is a fast-moving environment with high expectations: priorities change daily, decisions are made quickly, and the standard is that things get done properly the first time. You need to be driven, want to work hard, and take pride in running a tight operation for someone who moves fast. This is a hands-on, high-trust role. The engagement is conditional on a signed NDA, reference checks and a background check. Access is granted step by step during the probation period. Compensation and terms Fee: EUR 3,500 to 5,000 per month (or AED equivalent), depending on location and experience, invoiced monthly Performance bonus: up to EUR 2,000 per month on top of the fee, assessed monthly against agreed targets (deadlines met, zero missed renewals or bookings, response times, issues caught before they became urgent) Engagement: independent contractor. You must already hold the legal right to live and work where you are based and be set up to invoice (freelance permit, sole trader, autónomo or your own company). No visa sponsorship is provided. Software and travel costs covered when in-person time is needed Three-month probation period How to apply Apply with your CV, your earliest start date, and short written answers (a few sentences each) to the following: Describe a trip you booked that went wrong and how you fixed it. Have you managed personal or household matters, not just business, for a principal before? Give an example. Describe one repetitive task you automated for yourself or a previous principal: what the task was, which tools you used, and how much time it saved. What time zone are you in, and what hours are you realistically available? Shortlisted candidates complete a 30-minute practical task (plan a sample trip from a short brief) before a video interview. This role reports to Steven Profaizer , our Vice President of Communications, and will lead a small and growing team. This is one of three new communications leadership roles, alongside a Senior Communications Officer, Media & Public Affairs and a Senior Communications Officer, Editorial & Production . About the role Both our research and impact are expanding . Last year, we directed more than $400 million to highly cost-effective programs that save and improve lives. This year, we expect our grantmaking to approach, and possibly exceed, $1 billion. To build toward the communications capacity this next stage requires, we are rapidly expanding our team. Together with the Vice President of Communications, the three new Senior Communications Officers will form GiveWell’s communications leadership team. Each leader will own their function, but much of the work that matters most—like team strategies, major initiatives, partnership campaigns, and how we present the organization as a whole—will involve all three. We will expect this group to set shared priorities and work closely together to achieve the team’s goals. In this hands-on leadership position, you’ll own how GiveWell explains its work across different audiences and contexts, with end-to-end responsibility for this emerging function. You’ll set its strategy, hire and develop its people, build its systems, and personally own its hardest and most consequential work. This is an opportunity to build, not just inherit, an important function at a critical point in GiveWell’s development. You’ll start with a small team and grow it over time. While this role is set at the Senior Communications Officer level, we may consider hiring an exceptional candidate as a Communications Director—with greater expectations, responsibilities, and compensation. What You'll Do As Senior Communications Officer, Strategic Communications, you will be responsible for translating GiveWell’s research, grantmaking, and ideas into messages, frameworks, and products across a variety of channels and contexts. You will also lead major communications initiatives, advise senior leaders and teams, and help GiveWell assess and respond to emerging communications opportunities and risks. Specific duties will include: Own how GiveWell’s brand positioning and guidelines are applied across teams, channels, and partnership communications, and work closely with the Vice President of Communications on developing and maintaining them. Own the messaging and narrative that make GiveWell’s work accessible and relevant without sacrificing rigor, precision, or clarity about uncertainty. Translate GiveWell’s research, grantmaking, and ideas into messages and frameworks tailored to the audiences we most need to reach. Partner with Philanthropy on GiveWell’s donor communications strategy and lead donor-facing communications that require new or tailored messaging. Lead complex, cross-functional communications initiatives, including major partnership campaigns and other high-priority communications involving grantees and external partners. Serve as a strategic communications advisor to senior leaders and teams across GiveWell, bringing a clear point of view on audiences, framing, opportunities, and risks. Own the strategic direction and institutional messaging for GiveWell’s website, working with communications colleagues on execution. Own GiveWell’s internal communications strategy and major internal communications, helping our growing organization stay informed and aligned. Manage and develop one or two team members initially, and help determine how the function’s team, systems, and capabilities should grow over time. About You You are skilled at using communications to help people understand complex ideas, build trust, and take action. You are comfortable being accountable for outcomes, making consequential decisions with limited oversight, and knowing which decisions genuinely require escalation. You are energized by intellectually demanding work, and the challenges of creating engaging communications within a careful and precise style. You can engage deeply with GiveWell’s research, and you are comfortable understanding and communicating about data in detail. You have a long track record of getting up to speed quickly on complex subject matter and carefully communicating to a very high standard. You can build a compelling narrative that is entirely factual, representing what is known and unknown without overstating or hedging into vagueness—and you find the idea of working with GiveWell’s exacting communications standards exciting rather than limiting. Your background includes significant experience leading communications in complex, high-stakes environments. This should include 10+ years of experience developing institutional narratives and messaging, advising senior leaders, communicating complex or technical material, and leading cross-functional initiatives. You have deep experience owning that work end to end, not just contributing to it. You’ve remained a hands-on leader who enjoys the work itself, as well as the strategy and systems behind it. You can assess a situation from multiple angles, determine what an organization should say and how it should frame the issue, and turn that judgment into messages and communications that others can use. Experience with organizational positioning, brand strategy, donor communications, web strategy, and internal communications is desired, but we do not expect every candidate to have worked extensively in all of these areas. In addition to demonstrated expertise in the duties listed above, you should have: Exceptional communications judgment, including the ability to understand audience, context, risk, timing, and the underlying substance of a message. Uphold GiveWell’s voice and editorial standards across everything we publish, and help colleagues across the organization write within them. Own the development of GiveWell’s recurring communications and reporting products, turning established priorities and messaging into clear, accurate content. Personally create, edit, or substantially shape our most complex, sensitive, or high-priority content. Oversee GiveWell’s website content operations, including the people and processes responsible for routine updates and publishing, so that the site remains accurate, current, and consistent with our editorial standards. Serve as a senior editorial and production partner to teams across GiveWell, helping shape high-priority projects early, determine the right format and production approach, and establish clear roles, review paths, and timelines. Oversee the production of design, visual, and multimedia assets across GiveWell’s channels, and the internal team and external contractors who create them. Manage and develop one or two team members initially, and determine how the function’s team and capabilities should grow over time. This should include 10+ years of experience leading editorial and content-production work, setting and maintaining editorial standards, managing writers and editors, and building systems that produce consistently high-quality work. You have deep experience owning that work end to end, not just contributing to it. You’ve remained a hands-on leader who enjoys the work itself, as well as the strategy and systems behind it. You are a precise editor of complex or technical content: you read text literally and carefully, and you notice when a claim isn’t supported by the evidence behind it. You should be able to combine high standards for individual work with the operational judgment needed to prioritize, allocate resources, manage complex production, and increase capacity over time. You should understand how content is developed through writing, editing, design, audio, graphics, websites, and other formats—even if you are not personally an expert in every medium. Data Analyst, Internal Audit
GiveDirectly has delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty across 15 countries since 2011. We believe cash transfers are one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid, with the research to back it up. Our work has been covered by The Economist , NPR , TED , and The Washington Post . We are one of Time100’s Most Influential Companies of 2026. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We support high ownership and real professional growth. Curious about what it's really like to work here? Read our values and hear from the people who do . If they resonate, this could be a great fit! Location: Remote, with a requirement to overlap with an East Africa timezone by at least 3 hours. We can only employ people in certain places at the moment, so it's worth checking our current list of eligible countries to see if yours is included. If you're based elsewhere, it's not an automatic no, but do flag it early with your recruiter. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas in the U.S. or U.K. at this time. About this role GD moves cash directly into the hands of people living in poverty, often in contexts with limited infrastructure and oversight. Protecting that cash from fraud — whether attempted by external bad actors, field staff, or recipients — is core to our mission and to donor trust. Internal Audit is GD's second line of defense against fraud, and this role sits at the center of it. We're looking for a Data Analyst who can turn raw operational, payments, and enrollment data into a clear picture of where fraud risk is emerging across our programs, translate those patterns into recommendations that change how projects are designed, and partner with our Product team to build the tools that help us catch fraud earlier and more reliably. You'll move fluidly between deep analysis, clear storytelling to stakeholders who aren't data specialists, and hands-on collaboration with engineers and product managers. This role sits within Internal Audit but has a dotted reporting line to the Director of Data in order to ensure we meet the organisational technical quality bar and standardise analytical and engineering practises and ways of working across the organisation. Internal Audit owns fraud-risk questions, indicator definitions, investigative analysis, and interpretation, while the central Data team owns shared data infrastructure, production pipelines, governed data models, and platform standards. The analyst bridges the two: contributing domain requirements, validation, and quality assurance, and ensuring this work aligns with organization-wide analytical and engineering practices. You are as comfortable in a spreadsheet or SQL console as you are in a room with country program leads explaining why a trend matters and what to do about it. You default to evidence over instinct, but you know that a good insight is only useful if someone acts on it. What you'll do Analyze fraud risk trends: Mine enrollment, payment, survey, and field-operations data to identify patterns, anomalies, and emerging fraud typologies (e.g., duplicate enrollments, collusion, identity fraud, diversion of funds) across GD's programs and geographies. Design and oversee fraud-risk indicators: Build, validate, and maintain recurring monitoring in partnership with central data and operational control owners. Identify data quality issues in data currently collected by Internal Audit, and help design and implement process improvements to resolve them. Embed data-driven thinking into IA design: Identify fraud-related decisions where GiveDirectly should be more data-driven, and incorporate this into Internal Audit process design. Translate findings into action: Package analysis into clear, credible briefs and presentations for country teams, operations leadership, and senior management, with concrete recommendations for reducing fraud risk. Support fraud investigations: Provide data pulls, quantify exposure, and help reconstruct events for specific cases — ensuring analysis is reproducible and audit-ready, with documented queries, data lineage, assumptions, exclusions, and QA checks. Partner with Product and Central Data on fraud-detection tooling: Translate validated risk signals into product requirements, contribute domain expertise and acceptance criteria, and test whether controls operate as intended — while maintaining clear ownership and independence boundaries. Partner with Data Engineering on upstream data quality and pipeline improvements, while owning the downstream analytical layer. Strengthen methodology over time: Back-test risk indicators against investigated cases, monitor precision, coverage, and false-positive rates, and refine based on outcomes and emerging risks. Communicate uncertainty honestly: Distinguish confirmed fraud from suspicious-but-unconfirmed patterns, helping stakeholders make decisions without overstating findings. What you'll bring 4+ years of experience in data analysis, audit, risk, or a related analytical role; experience in internal audit, fraud/forensics, or a nonprofit/development context is a plus but not required. Strong SQL skills and comfort working directly in large, sometimes messy operational datasets (Salesforce data, payments data, survey data). Experience using Python for reproducible analysis, automation, record linkage, anomaly investigation, or data-quality testing is strongly preferred. Familiarity with analytical notebooks, version control, and documenting analysis so it can be reviewed and reproduced by others is a plus. Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and/or Python/R for analysis. Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous, exploratory analysis into a clear, defensible narrative for non-technical stakeholders. Experience or strong interest in working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to translate analytical needs into product requirements. Sound judgment on evidence quality: knowing the difference between a real signal and noise, and communicating that distinction tran

Major Gifts Officer
responsibilities Here’s what you’ll likely be focused on for the first 6 months: Get up to speed on Mozilla's existing major gift portfolio and pipeline in Salesforce, and start building relationships with current donors. Move existing prospects who are already in active cultivation toward a solicitation. Partner with prospect research to identify and begin qualifying new major gift prospects for your portfolio. Help plan and deliver a stewardship touchpoint or donor event that deepens an existing major donor relationship. Start shaping a tailored proposal or impact story, drawing on input from program and executive staff, for one of your priority donors. As a Major Gifts Officer at Mozilla Foundation, you will… Personally solicit and close five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts from donors capable of giving at the $50,000–$1M+ level. Move donors from interest to a signed commitment on a timeline that actually progresses, rather than leaving a portfolio perpetually “warming up.” Help the major gifts program consistently hit its revenue targets. Manage a portfolio of major donor relationships, systematically advancing prospects through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Keep every meaningful donor interaction documented in Salesforce, so relationship history is accurate and the next move is always clear. Design and deliver stewardship activities and donor events that keep major donors genuinely engaged after their gift. Build a growing base of donors who renew and increase their support over time, rather than one-time gifts that don't come back. Partner with prospect research to continuously identify and qualify new major gift prospects for your portfolio. Help build and strengthen the pathways that convert annual donors into major giving. Keep the pipeline growing faster than it depletes, so future revenue isn't riding entirely on today's named relationships. Translate Mozilla's programs and technical work into compelling, tailored proposals and impact stories that move donors to give. Bring executive leadership, program staff, and a donor's own interests together into a single, compelling case for support. Deploy senior leaders towards the right donor relationships at the right moments. Your Professional Profile: A track record in major gift fundraising, preferably in technology, advocacy, or public interest organizations. Demonstrated success personally soliciting and closing five-, six- and/or seven-figure gifts directly with high-net-worth individuals — not just managing or growing a portfolio someone else built. The ability to conceive, plan, and execute a major gifts program, and to build, prioritize, and systematically manage a portfolio of donor relationships from identification through stewardship. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to earn trust from donors and colleagues in a values-driven organization. The ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling philanthropic opportunities, with strong proposal writing and presentation skills. Command of donor cultivation strategy and moves management. Comfort with CRM systems and disciplined donor database management. The focus to manage a full portfolio without losing sight of what matters most, and the initiative to move toward hard conversations — including the ask — rather than waiting for someone else to go first. We Are Excited To See Any Additional Experience With: An understanding of digital rights, internet health, or technology policy. Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) fluency — comfort identifying and discussing DAF giving opportunities within a portfolio. Experience with data-informed prospecting, such as wealth screening or predictive analytics tools. Awareness of planned and bequest giving as a growing part of the philanthropic landscape. Senior Engineering Manager, Platform
Location: You must be based in one of the countries on this list and must overlap with East Africa Time and US Eastern Time (8am-6pm) by at least 3 hours. As an example, 6PM East Africa Time is 11AM US Eastern time in the summer and 10AM in the winter. In practice, if you are in the Eastern US timezone, that means being regularly available for 8AM meetings and some 7AM ones. We know people have commitments like school drop-offs, so you’re encouraged to set a schedule that works for you—as long as there’s sufficient overlap with the team. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visas in the U.S. or U.K. at this time. About this role We’re hiring three Senior Engineering Managers to own domains of our cash delivery platform at a moment of rapid growth: we’re doubling our engineering team over the coming year and expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026, with significant growth forecast for 2027. You'll own one domain of our cash delivery platform — payments, core platform, or data collection (see team charters below) — the software product that is at the heart of delivering cash to recipients. We recently launched a platform rebuild as a greenfield project, and the work ahead is scaling it from initial launch to delivering $5B/year. This is a management role close to the work: you'll directly manage a team of 5–7 senior engineers, partner with product counterparts on roadmap and delivery, own the operational details (on-call, incident response), and stay close enough to the code to pressure-test designs and represent tradeoffs in roadmap decisions. You will own maintaining and scaling a strong engineering culture on your team through rapid growth: recruiting and retaining a high talent density team, and building strong operating processes that encourage open debate in search of the best outcomes for recipients rather than attachment to being right or looking good; continuous learning, improvement, and adoption of new tools; deep product ownership in service of impact for recipients; and strong judgment about tradeoffs. You'll set a high technical quality bar, pressure-testing designs and tradeoffs while still giving a very senior team high autonomy. You optimize for recipient impact, not the most interesting technical problem. We're not driven by hot new technical trends; we're building the hard tech that matters to recipients — integrations with mobile money rails and delivery in low-connectivity contexts. You'll own the interface between engineering and team members who haven't worked heavily with a product development organization before. That means learning our programs and the realities of our field teams, and working with partner teams to build our development practices, whether building trust that an MVP is a starting point rather than a final answer, or helping teams see why it’s worth taking time out of their urgent delivery goals to give feedback on a demo or try something new. As GiveDirectly scales, technology is what allows us to reach more people without breaking. Your leadership means getting more cash to the people who need it most. Reports to: VP of Technology Level : Senior Manager Travel Requirement: Must be able to travel ~3-4 times per year to one of our countries of operation for team retreats or field visits Team charters: We're hiring one Senior Engineering Manager for each of three teams. During the process we'll match candidates to charters based on experience and interest — you don't need to pick one to apply. Payments: owns integrations with mobile money and banking rails, payments orchestration, and financial tracking and reconciliation. A key mission of this domain is to build reliable systems that can move billions of dollars, on top of financial payment rails of varying maturity. Core platform: owns the heart of the cash delivery platform: the recipient and program data model, the web app our call center agents and field managers use every day, and the migration cutover from our legacy and Salesforce systems. Data collection: owns how we identify and enroll recipients: survey and enrollment tooling built for low-connectivity, offline-first field contexts, and, in time, increasingly direct-to-recipient communications. This team’s work shapes how recipients experience our programs – and ultimately the operational mechanics of delivering at scale. What you’ll do: Directly manage a team growing to 5–7 senior engineers — 1:1s, goal setting, feedback, career development, performance management — and build the team itself: you'll drive recruiting for several of your own hires in your first year and own their onboarding Own your domain’s technical outcomes: delivery, reliability, and the consequences of its big technical bets – in close partnership with senior and staff engineers and your product counterpart Partner with product to balance feature development with tech debt drawdown, infrastructure investments, and other efforts to improve velocity and drive compounding progress Drive operational excellence, including on-call, incident response, code quality, testing, AI, and deployment practices Protect and scale the culture as we grow: open debate, product ownership, continuous improvement, and strong engineering foundations Represent your team with stakeholders and leadership: translate technical realities into business decisions and vice versa, and partner with diverse stakeholders to create the enabling environment for product development Set t

Senior Staff Product Manager, Browser Control Platform
role: This role owns the foundation that lets other software drive Firefox: the secure, reliable connection an outside tool or another team uses to act inside the browser, and the building blocks they call to do it. It enables the teams building on it — internal teams, outside AI tools — to create their own products on top. This role owns the shared layer and the strategy for it. It’s a hands-on, technical role in a fast-moving, greenfield space, so it’s as much strategy as execution. The opportunity is broad: internal teams (Smart Window, New Products’ automated tools), outside AI tools and their users, and web developers. The three share much of the underlying technology, but each reaches its market in a different way. The mandate is to figure out what to go after, and in what order. What you’ll do: Own the shared foundation and the building blocks it gives other software, and make them reliable and secure. Push the open standard (WebDriver BiDi) forward, and build Firefox-only advantages the standard won’t cover Design the safety controls: let a person approve actions, see when software is acting for them, and take back control. Define the strategy for any major third-party AI assistants people already use. Serve internal teams (Smart Window, New Products) and outside tools through one shared layer. Measured on: Adoption across teams and tools, volume of usage through the platform, and sustained reliability and security.
